East Kilbride Trampoline Club was founded by John Ridge in 1972, and most people involved in Trampolining the world over will know John. Although John has recently retired from the club, he is still very involved with the club and trampolining in general. Often seen at competitions where he is still a highly respected judge.

Everyone at EKTC knows that if it was not for John’s hard work and patience, the club as we know it would not exist.

John retired from the club at the end of 2006 after serving 34 years and a surprise night was held for him. As a measure of how

highly he is regarded, the hall was full of club

members old and new, some travelling

from England, even from as far as America,

just to attend his party.

It goes without saying that East Kilbride

Trampoline Club will forever be in John’s debt.
